Re-seeding and over-seeding
If the pasture is exhausted, re-seeding may be required. This involves removing what is left of the existing grass/weeds either with herbicides or working the soil to form a new seedbed, ie: ploughing, power-harrowing, spraying and direct drilling. We can advise on the best method of approach and the right seed to use.
Over-seeding is carried out when a complete re-seed is not necessary or feasible. This involves broadcasting grass seed over the patchy areas, or the entire area depending on what is required, which can be determined upon inspection.
